CARBATEC 250mm Helical Head Thicknesser Jointer TJ-X250C

Carbatec’s TJ-X250C Helical Head Thicknesser/Jointer combination machine has a wide, machine ground cast iron bed jointer on the top and a cast bed thicknesser underneath. A Helical Head with radius edge carbide insert knives, angled to give you a shear cut action. Quiet, clean and superior finish in the crankiest of timbers. Independent infeed/outfeed table adjustment, precision tilting aluminium fence and all the safety features you would expect on a commercial machine, like Euro bridge guard, NVR switching, and electrical interlock on the cutterhead dust chute. Where space is an issue, these combination machines come into their own. They have a compact footprint, but have the same build quality as dedicated stand alone machinery. Featuring a single lift top, this machine differs from many others as no partial disassembly, fence removal etc, are required to change from one mode, to the other. Simply, Unlock - Lift - Flip and Go! The top also lift up from the front, so access to the rear of the machine is not required (another important feature in the compact workshop).
