The KP001G delivers heavy duty cutting performance pairing the 40V Max XGT battery platform with a high-powered Brushless Motor, allowing for a massive 4mm max. cutting depth. With planning speeds up to 85% faster than the equivalent 18V LXT model, the KP001G is incredibly powerful with unmatched speed compared with both cordless and corded models in the same class.Also featuring an electric brake and a spring-loaded stand to elevate the base and protect the blades and work piece, increasing safety and protecting workpieces from any possible damage.

The KP001G is compatible with the Auto-Start Wireless System (AWS) using Bluetooth technology to wirelessly power-on and power-off communication between the planer and dust extractor. Once connected via AWS, the AWS-equipped dust extractor will automatically power on or off when the AWS-equipped cordless tool starts or stops. (Wireless transmitter #198901-5, sold separately).
