MAKITA 2100W 12.7mm (1/2") Plunge Router RP2301FC05

The 12.7mm (1/2”) plunge router (RP2301FC) has a powerful 2,100W motor with variable speed for heavy duty applications. The tool has been designed with convenience, durability, and ergonomics in mind. The RP2301FC has a trigger switch with lock-on function located on the contoured handles, providing comfortable operation and easy handling.

The RP2301FC has linear ball bearings for smooth and accurate plunge action, with 3 stopper blocks providing multiple cutting depths. The depth of plunge can be precisely adjusted in 0.1mm increments that can be monitored on an easy-to-read depth scale. The depth of plunge can also be locked on the tool allowing for prolonged use. The RP2301FC can be placed upside down and rest on the motor housing to assist with accessory changes. The tool also comes standard with twin LED job lights designed to illuminate the router bit on the workpiece.

The RP2301FC also features several electronic features that improve operability. The tool comes standard with a variable speed dial that allows the user to better match the speed to the application. The built in soft start module will reduce initial start up shock, constant speed control will attempt to maintain bit speed under load, and an electric brake will rapidly stop bit rotation when the trigger is released.
