If power is disrupted while using the grinder and the switch remains in the on position, the GA9080FX1 will not restart until the user releases and reengages the two-stage trigger switch. The built-in soft start module will reduce initial start-up shock, allowing the user to better control the unit while it rapidly achieves full power.

The GA9080FX1 includes numerous ergonomic features that allow the user to work comfortably for extended periods, while achieving consistent results. The main handle is equipped with anti-vibration technology to significantly reduce vibration passing from the workpiece to the user's hands. The handle can also be rotated 90° left or right allowing the users to optimally control the grinder across various applications. Finally, the vibration proof side grip is rubberised and has been positioned to enhance tool maneuverability and balance.
