CARBATEC 8" Benchtop Model Bandsaw BS-B200H

The Carbatec 8" Bandsaw has been added to our range of Benchtop Machinery, for those without the space or need for larger capacity machines, but still want the benefits a bandsaw can bring to your workshop. Unlike its peers in this size, this unit is an all metal construction, steel body with sturdy alloy wheels and table. Supplied with an adjustable rip fence; basic mitre gauge; push stick, euro-style blade guides, 4" dust outlet and a 370w (1/2HP) motor. Micro-switched doors and rack and pinion blade guard adjustment are standard features too.

Bandsaws are very versatile tools, capable of cutting a variety of curved work, as well as competent straight cuts and resaw work. Of course, the scope of this is proportionate to the machine at hand! While this machine won't be ripping down your hardwood sleepers and fence posts, it will competently complete many smaller projects for you and is a very useful addition to the compact workshop. A range of quality European blades, cut and brazed to length in Australia, are available from us to suit.
